Minna Jarvenpaa

A founding member of the Afghanistan Analysts Network and the Afghan Film Project, Minna Jarvenpaa is an independent policy analyst and producer based in Kabul, Afghanistan. 



Minna has worked in senior roles within the United Nations, the British Government, and with Nobel peace prize winner Martti Ahtisaari. During her international career in conflict and post-conflict countries, spanning Bosnia, Kosovo and Afghanistan, she has helped found two think tanks and launched several other non-profit initiatives to better inform policy and to increase the understanding of realities on the ground in the countries where she has worked. 



Minna has a background in international relations and Slavic languages and literatures from Harvard and the London School of Economics, and was senior associate member of St Antony's college at Oxford.
