Projects

The Afghan Film Project will run intensive two week film training workshops for promising Afghan filmmakers, taught by world-renowned film professionals. These workshops will cover all aspects of film production, from conception to production to final cut. Each participant will develop a film project and take it from script to screen.

These films will be shown on our website, and will be screened for an Afghan audience to promote pride and ownership in Afghanistan's film industry.

BUZKASHI BOYS

In the old city slums of Kabul, a blacksmith's son and a street urchin dream of a better life. Set against the backdrop of the brutal national sport of Buzkashi, this groundbreaking film will offer a glimpse of a rarely seen Afghanistan through the eyes of two of its youngest sons, as they make their way to manhood in the most war-torn country on Earth.
